this was instituted after the great SquatchGate schism of 2025

Growth & Group Size Limits

• Limit: 16
• When we add more than 16, we split.
• If you are the one trying to bring the 17th person, you should be working on a plan to start a second group that will spit.
• A split should happen with someone that feels they actually want to and should be leading a group.

Starting A New Group

• A second group is created by someone who wants to run a second group.
• They should be thinking about who would join them and actively pursue building this second group with existing, strong relationships

Adding New Members

Group Membership Mindset

• Don’t think about adding members. That’s not the goal. We have a lot of fantastic men in our group. Being a member is a serious thing. This is not a fun social club. This is a group of men committed to being in each others lives as we pursue Jesus in Los Angeles.
• However, in the event that a Member is looking to invite someone else to the group they will do so with great thought and consideration.

Membership Process:

• Pledges should be generally known by everyone and be participants in the broader community.
• A member shall bring forward a potential pledge and explain why they should be a part of the group.
• 4 weeks should pass before we discuss adding a pledge.
• We do not vote on adding a pledge. However we discuss if the pledge should be added or not. Other members should be able to bring up concerns about adding any potential pledge.
